Get your five a day at the farmers’ market!

British root vegetables and healthy greens are in plentiful supply at this time of year.  Carrots, beetroot, parsnips, cabbage, broccoli and sprouts are all available plus it’s also the prime season for pumpkins and squash.  Local apples and pears can be found in all sorts of varieties for eating and cooking too.

Enjoy all this fresh, local produce at your local farmers’ market!
