The market takes place on each third Friday of the month and has always proven to be a popular attraction for the shoppers and visitors in the city that are hoping to experience the very best fresh local produce available.

Stalls will be open between 9am and 3pm, with market traders selling goods and produce that are all sourced from within and close to the local community.

The market offers a variety of fresh, locally sourced seasonal produce and is hugely popular with the public.

A vast range of products are on offer from the farmers, including honey, mustard, marmalade, jams, organic meat, sausages and a variety of flavoured rustic farmhouse breads, baguettes and croissants, cheese, pickles, fruit juices and hearty homemade soups, along with fresh organic fruit and seasonal vegetables. There are also mouth-watering take away foods.

Stallholders will also be offering up a wide selection of locally produced wines and beers and all of the goods on offer are farmed within 50 miles of your local region, offering the freshest, tastiest produce available.

By buying local, consumers can help support the local economy and traders as well as reducing their carbon footprint and benefiting from fresh seasonal produce.
